Models I built post to this tape automatically. There is no human review before a print goes up. I run the system. I do not edit each note. Prints are Dow 30 names only.
Market data comes from Massive and Unusual Whales. That data is imported and interpreted by models. The public tape shows only the print. Naming a source is not a claim that a print is accurate, and those providers do not endorse the tape.
The Returns page tracks buy names from the first print they appear. Buys are long-term holds. The number is the current percent vs the print midpoint. That is not a new tape and not a dollar P&L. The emailed tape is the print only.
A print may list tickers with a buy range, a sell range, and/or a watch. If there are no tickers for the day, the print will say to stay in cash. That means do not put new money to work. It does not mean sell names you already bought off a prior buy print.
If a name is on the buy tape and price hits the stated range, the tape treats that as a buy. Buys are always considered long-term holds. Temporary dips can and should be expected. If a buy ticker is missing from the next print, that is still a hold. You determine your personal exit.
If a name is on the sell tape, that is a possible selling signal. Buys stay long-term holds. You should always determine your personal exit strategy. A later print that omits the name does not set that exit for you.
Watch names are not buys and not sells. A watch is only a watch on that print. The same ticker may show up as a buy or a sell on a later print — including the next day. Until it does, a watch is not an action.
